EIAL occasionally sends targeted calls for papers and invitations to submit manuscripts to authors and researchers working in fields relevant to the journal's scope.

In addition, EIAL invites scholars to write book reviews of specific titles. The editorial team selects recently published books (no older than three years) for review and identifies prospective reviewers, who are then contacted directly by the journal.

All marketing, communication, and solicitation activities are conducted in a professional and unobtrusive manner. The purpose of these activities is to promote high-quality academic research in Latin American and Caribbean studies and to foster scholarly dialogue within the field.
