Focus and Scope

EIAL, Tel Aviv University's journal of Latin American studies, focuses on all aspects of the history and culture of Latin America and the Caribbean during the 19th, 20th and 21st centuries. Every year, one of the two issues is devoted to a specific subject, which is previously announced, while the other issue comprises articles on a variety of themes. One issue is usually published in January and the other in June.

The journal is indexed in: EBSCO, GALE, REDALYC, The Hispanic American Periodicals Index (HAPI), DOAJ, HLAS, PUBLINDEX, DIALNET, PROQUEST.

Peer Review Process

Contributors should prepare their manuscripts in such a way as to ensure the anonymity of the author's identity in accordance with the blind review process.

Open Access Policy

This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.
